What Kit is
Kit provides browser-based utilities for everyday file and text tasks. Processing is intended to run client-side. Kit is offered as a static web application and as open-source software.

Kit source code is available under the MIT License. That license governs redistribution and use of the code. These Terms govern use of the hosted site and the Service online.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kit to:

- Misrepresent Kit as a service that stores or transmits your files to us for processing when it does not
You are solely responsible for the files and content you process with Kit and for complying with laws that apply to that content.

Tool outputs are provided for convenience only. They are not legal, security, medical, or other professional advice. Features such as visual covers on PDF pages may not remove all underlying data—verify results for sensitive use cases.

KIT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
